William Russell, head of the motor cycle police. today submitted to Chief Coffey this report of the squad's activities in April: Speeders arrested. 367; 808 traffic tickets issued: 436 arrests for not having 1934 state tags; 172 arrests for not having city license tags; 53 arrests for not having driver's licenses; 10 arrests for careless driving: 10 arrests for driving while intoxicated: 4 arrests for hit and run driving. BUTLER. MO., BANK IS CLOSED. JEFFERSON CITY, May 10.-The Walton Bank and Trust Company of Butler, in Bates County. with total resources of about $900,000. was closed today and placed in the hands of the state finance department.
