Eugene L. local attorney and representative in the Legislature from Butler county, late Saturday was named receiver for the closed Poplar Bluff Trust Company. The pointment made by L. Cantley was finance Today himself with the affairs of the bank and this morning was said would formally take over the institution late today. McGee said this morning that was not prepared, at this time, make any statement concerning the bank's affairs. He planning, how. make effort to collect every funds due the bank with as little lay possible.

McGEE CHECKED IN AS BANK RECEIVER Eugene L. McGee, recently appointed special deputy to liquidate the affairs of the defunct Poplar Bluff Trust Company, was checked in and assum. ed charge of the institution Tuesday, and its affairs were turned. over to him by Bank Examiner Clyde Duncan, who has been in charge. McGee stated today that he would make all speed possible in getting affairs of the bank adjusted. Ha Baker will act as his assistant.

Eugene L. McGee, local attorney and in the Legislature from Butler county, Saturday was named for the closed Poplar Bluff Trust Company. The appointment made by Cantley, finance commissioner of Missouri, Today McGee familiarizing himself with the affairs of the bank, and this morning it was said he would formally take over the institution today. McGee said this morning that he was not prepared, at this time, to make concerning the bank's affairs. He is planning, however to make every effort to collect funds due the bank with as little delay possible.

NOTICE TO CREDITORS OF THE POPLAR BLUFF TRUST COM PANY, POPLAR BLUFF, MO. All claims against the Poplar Bluff Trust Company of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, are hereby notified to present the same to the undersigned and make proper proof thereof within four from the 10th day of August, 1028. Creditors appear in person or by representative at the banking room of said trust company in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, where blanks will be furnished and assistance given expense the claimant. The last date on which claims may be presented the 10th day of December, 1928.
