THE JOB ASSIGNMENT.-In the matter of the assignment of Hamilton, Job and company J. R. Bryson assignee of the estate, presented a petition for an order to compromise the notes and overdraft claims held by him as assignee against Wallis Nash, for the amount of $17 338.48, upon payment by said Wallis Nash of $2,000 in cash, the execution of an agreement for the conveyance of a section of land in Lincoln county, and the transfer of a claim of $2,266 against the Oregon Pacific and W. and O. railroad receivership. The assignee was authorized to settle and compromise the said notes and overdrafts on the basis above set out, and to surrender to the said Wallis Nash his notes and receipt for overdrafts upon receipt of the $2,000 in cash, the transfer of said claim against the O. P. and W. V. and C. R. R. receivership and the execution of said deed to a seciion of land in Lincoln county. Corvallis creditors of the Job bank, acquainted with the circumstances regard the settlement with Mr. Nash with considerable favor.-Times.
