LIABLE FOR NOTES BANK SOLD CANTON. April Rudolph in circuit court. holds that ficers of the closed Farmers' Savings bank of Tea liable for notes sold closed Commercial Savings bank of Sioux Falls. This considered an important victory for the state which charge the Sioux Falls institution.

BANK WILL PAY $130,000 CLAIMS Commercial & Savings to Pay All Preferred Claims-S. F. Savings Gets $90,000 sufficient money on hand to pay all the remaining preferred the bank, petition has been against filed circuit court by R. Smith, in of banks, for the state Commercial and Savings bank of Sloux which will likely be approved on Falls 23 formality in making August the payment. The preferred claims are the deposits banks in this institution, and of other these payments, aggregating nearly will clean up all of the many such claims that this bank had. Included in the remaining preferred be paid at this time is one claims to by the Sioux Falls Trust & Savings bank for $90,081, one for the Farmers Savings bank of Tea for $11,856, and several others of smaller amounts. Commercial and Savings bank The suspended on January 24, 1924, and J. E. Witten is the examiner in charge. With all of the preferred claims of other banks taken care of by the pay ments provided in the petition now on file. all liquidation in the future will be used to the remaining claims pay against the bank.
