BANK OF SIMSBORO TO RE-OPEN SOON It has been announced that the Bank of Simsboro which voluntarily closed its doors Friday, December 29th. due to inability to collect loans made during the past year. will re-open its doors for business within the next two weeks. The banks books are in good shape and the depositors will get one hundred cents on every dollar they have de posited. according to the auditor sent out from the State Bank Examiner's office. The banks closing was due to the fact that a considerable amount of money had been advanced on cotton, and this with other uncollected loans caused the bank's reserve to run SO low as to necessitate its withdrawal from business until the reserve could be built up.
