More Hootch Makers in Trouble. Monday of last week and again last Friday sessions of Bossier District Court were held here, Judge T. F. Bell, of Shreveport, presiding. About the usual run of civil business was transacted during the two sessions of the court. In the case of depositors of the defunct Plain Dealing Bank against its former directors-suit entered in an effort to recover sunn on deposit at the time the bank failed-exceptions priorly filed were taken up and tried and submitted on briefs to be filed. Five negroes plead guilty to the charge of manufacturing intoxicating liquors and were fined and given jail sentences as follows: Charley Tippett-sixty days and $250, with sixty days additional in default of payment of the fine. Joe Reliford-sixty days and $250, with sixty days additional in default of payment of the fine. Allen Jefferson - thirty days and $100, with thirty days additional in default of payment of the fine. Will Jeter-thirty days and $100, with thirty days additional in default of payment of the fine. Jerry Robinson-sixty days and $250, with sixty days additional in default of payment of the fine. William Pelt was found guilty of the charge of having intoxicating liquors in his possession and was fined $100 and given a jail sentence of thirty days, with thirty days additional in default of payment of the fine. Heury Daniels plead guilty to the charge of selling intoxicating liquors and was fined $73 and given a thirtyday jail sentence, with thirty days additional in default of payment of the fine. The jail sentence was suspended on account of his present weakened physical condition. M. R. Odle was tried and found not guilty of the charge of having intoxicating liquors in his possession.
