EX-BANKER MUST PAY Court Grants 29 Thousand Dollar Judgment to Receiver. Lincoln. Neb., June 25 E. Peterson, receiver of the Bank of Bartley, was given $28,842.05 judgment against Bernhard Shaberg by District Judge Stewart today on stipulation of the parties. Shaberg was president of the bank of Bartley in 1924 as well as president the First National bank of University Place and the First National bank at Pilger. He alleged have sent ten notes from the University Place institution to the Bartley bank and ordered the cashier of the latter institution give credit to the University Place bank. The sign ers of these notes all proved to be insolvent.
