STATE BANK OF CONGER IS CLOSED Bank Examiner Orders Suspension of Business at 11 o'clock This Morning. Lack of liquid assets caused the state superintendent of banks to order suspension of business at the state bank of Conger this morning at 11 o'clock. A. Randall, president of the bank and Cashier Day, are now working with the examiners to complete the audit of the institution. The bank which is capitalized at $10,000 is largely owned by stockholders living in that vicinity. It has no connection with any other bank. It is said that the bank has been under stress of financial difficulties for some time due to occurrences during and following the war inflation. It weathered the trouble, however, for a time and was allowed to proceed. It is further said, that it is doubtful if there will be any great loss to the depositors.
