Sept. 7.-The largest loan authorized in Louisiana during July by the Reconstruction Finance corporation was that of $1,020,000 to the receiver of the Bank of Baton Rouge at Baton Rouge. Other loans authorized were: The Union Bank & Trust Co., Baton Rouge (receiver), $540,000. Gretna Trust & Savinks bank (receiver), $25,000. Bank of Gueydan, Gueydan, $11,068. Security Investment & Loan corporation, Monroe, $200,000. First Joint Stock Land bank, New Orleans, $24,500. The following loans were cancelled during the month: Canal Bank & Trust Co., New Orleans, $8,900,000. Interstate Trust & Banking Co., New Orleans, $136,000 Peoples Bank & Trust Co., Minden, $15,000.
