Ohio County Bank Forced To Close Doors The Rockport Deposit Bank, Ohio closed its dobrs today and placits assets in the hands of the banking commissioner for voluntary liquidation, Phillips, deputy state banking nounced tonight on his arrival Owensboro from Rockport. The bank organized in 1904 and has capital stock of $15,000; surplus $6,000; deposits $58,000 and loans and discounts of $51,000. Dr. Park, Rockport, president and R. Reed cashier. Mr. Phillips estimated the depositors will in time be paid in full, but will probably require against the stockholders to do Frozen loans caused the bank's failure, Mr. Phillips stated.

SMALL BANK IN COUNTY IS FORCED TO CLOSE Rockport Deposit Had Capital of $15,000 and Deposits of $58,000; To Pay In Full, Claim. The Rockport Deposit bank, of Rockport, Ohio county, closed its doors Saturday and placed its assets in the hands of the banking commissioner for voluntary liquidation, S. A. Phillips, deputy state banking commissioner announced on his arrival in Owensboro last night. The Rockport Deposit bank was organized 1904. A. D. Park, president: Elizabeth Harrel. vice president: R. Reed, cashier, and Bert Bennett, assistant cashier. Capital Stock $15,000 The capital stock of the bank (Continued on Page Seven)
