Stevensville Bank Receiver Files Suit Asking $3,000 Suit to recover an assessment on bank stock and a note was filed in Berrien county circuit court today by Ben Kral, receiver of the Stevensville State bank, against Herman R. Siewert, Stevensville. According to the declaration filed by Attorney Charles W. Stratton, who represents the receiver, the plaintiff is seeking to recover $300 in a stock assessment for three shares of bank stock, and a $1,218 note signed by the defendant and E. W. Siewert on June 24, 1931. The plaintiff asks a judgment in the sum of $3,000. CHICAGO ATTORNEY DIES CHICAGO, Dec. 7 (AP).—Harold Beacom, 43, attorney and Republican leader, died last night.
