NO RECEIVER Eddyville Bank Recovers From Temporary Embarassment. Today Resumed Payment and Settled the State's Account. Frankfort, Ky., May 27-Secretary of State McChesney this afternoon received a telegram from Warden Hagerman, of the Eddyville penitentiary stating that the Farmers' bank at Eddyville had resumed payment and settled the state's account kept therein. It was on the affidavit of Mr. Hagerman that Mr. McChesney today determined to ask for the appointment of a receiver. Upon receipt of Mr. Hagerman's telegram he withdrew the request.
