COURT HOUSE NEWS Walker Bank Receiver Seeks To Recover $722 And Interest On Note L. A. Andrew. state superintendent of banking, has filed suit against Mrs. W. M. Spencer et al. as receiver of the defunct Walker Savings bank to recover $722.24 and interest on promissory note delivered on July 2. 1927. The other defendants are Dr. W. H. Spencer and Mollie Knutz. The U. Hoffman Machinery corporation has asked the district court for writ of replevin on certain machinery sold to Christ Kuskulis, which is now in the latter's The plaintiff company asks for judgment for possession of the property, or judgment for the full value which it says is $350 The Hoffman company also seeks $100 damages for wrongful detention. charging the defendant defaulted in payment and refused to return the machinery.
