Bank's Receiver Named. Orange City, Ia., Dec. 14.—Special: In the matter of the assignment of the assets of the Bank of Northwestern Iowa, of Alton, Ia., and the Northwestern bank of Ireton, on application of creditors, the assignee, Henry Gibbink, was appointed receiver of both banks, the assets of the partnership owning them and their individual property, including several Iowa, South Dakota and Minnesota farms, amounting in all to about $50,000. Club Banquets Grid Heroes. Ida Grove, Ia., Dec. 14.—Special: The Ida Grove football team was given a banquet and reception by the Community club. Over 100 were in attendance. Short talks were given by George Witters, former Ida Grove high school, Grinnell college and West Point star football player, Bruce Snell and Coach Norelius. Workman Falls 4 Stories. Cedar Rapids, Ia., Dec. 14.—(AP)—Frank Clark, workman on the 12-story building being erected by the Merchants National bank, fell four stories to the pavement this morning. He suffered a fractured jaw, a broken right leg and other injuries. His condition is serious.
