PREPARED FOR A RUN Storm Lake Banking Matters Quieting Down-Some Withdrawal of Funds RECEIVER FOR INSOLVENT BANK The Appointment of Hon. A. J. Wilson, of Boone, for the First National Bank, Appears to Have Given General Satisfaction and Restored Confidence Among the People. Special to Times-Republican Storm Lake, Jan. 8.-Banking matters are quieting down. There has been some withdrawal of funds from the two solvent banks, the Commercial State and the Citizens,' but nothing serious. The two banks had prepared for a run over Sunday. The appointment of Hon. A. J. Wilson, of Boone, as a receiver of the First National Bank gives general satisfaction. and is restoring confidence rapidly. Mr. Willson represented Buena Vista county inthe Twenty-eighth and Twenty-ninth general assemblies, and is now cashier of a bank in Boone. He was president of the savings bank at Marathon, in this county.
