Description

Articles (1914) show the Citizens Bank of Columbia was in receivership (L. C. Winfrey, Receiver) with court-ordered sales of assets and executions against debtors. No article mentions a depositor run; receiver appointed by Adair Circuit Court (order dated Sept. term 1912). I classify this as a suspension/closure (receivership) without an antecedent run. Dates corrected/standardized from notices (e.g., receiver notice published 1914-04-22; court order originally from September 1912).
