RHODES IS RECEIVER Of Farmers State Bank ionals to Elect Tuesday Rhodes has been named receiver the Farmers State bank at White City by Chas. state bank receiver. He has qualified and will take immediate charge of the bank affairs. Mr. Rhodes is especially competent liquidate this stitution because of the banking experience he gained during his long years of association the Morris County Savings and Loan. H. Snyder has been named attorney for the Farmers bank. The annual stockholders meeting of the Council Grove National bank will be held here on Monday, Directors will meet the following day to choose officers. Governor to Take Week's Vacation and Dodge Army of Job Hunters Topeka, Landon going fishing. Announcement was made today that he would be gone week for rest and to escape the army of job hunters beseiging office. Since his return from Washington and the national conference, Landon has had little time for business except conference with persons seeking appointments. Thousands have visited his office in the past ten days and the governor has talked with between 200 and 300 daily.
