CORN SCHOOL IN FOUNTAIN CO. All-Day Session Feb. 15 in Davis Twp.-Attica News-Churches. ATTICA, Feb. 10.-(Special.) The program has completed for the corn school to be held next Wednesday, Feb. 15, for all corn growers of Fountain county, at the Davis township consolidated school building, east of Attica. The information on the of seed corn, tion of crops, judging and control of root rot will be given. The morning program will open at 10 o'clock with talk on "Fertilizing the Corn Crop, by M. O. Pence, of the Purdue extension department C. T. Gregory, also of the Purdue agricultural rtment, will talk o'clock on "Increasing Yields and Improving Quality by Controlling Root Rot. Both talks will be illustrated After luncheon which will be served at noon at the school building. Mr. talk "Picking the Best Seed Corn the Rag Doll Method, and will demonstrate his talk by the use of the doll rack belonging to E. Earl, Davis township, who is testing 60 ears of corn. Other talks the program will be "How Indiana Farmers Are Increasing Corn Yields, by Mr Pence; Produced My Yield of Corn in the Five Acre Corn Club, Palin, who lives near Newtown and discussion the 1933 county corn improvement program, by County Agent Hesler. The state bank did not open for business Thursday morning, and notice posted on the door stated that the bank was closed for liquidation.
