ODELL BANK IS CLOSED The closing of the bank at Odell, Nebr. was announced by the department of trade and commerce riday morning, and is said to be the first bank failure in Gage county for several years. The bank which closed Thursday afternoon was organized in 1903. Charles N. Hinds, president and cashier of the bank, said that the condition of the bank-might be impaired but he did not believe it to be insolvent... The bank organized by the Hinds family, was capitalized at $20,000 and had deposits of near $165,000 which were said to have been reduced to a recent run on the bank. W. H. Hinds is vice president Bank Examiner A. F. Jorgenson is in charge of the bank for the department of trade and commerce.
