REPORT OF BANK RECEIVER 0. K.'D W.A. Kunkel, Jr., Dismissed in Poneto Case. Bluffton. Ind., Nov. 8.-Judge A W. Hamilton, of the Wells Circuit Court. today approved the final report of W. A. Kunkel, Jr., receiver for the Bank of Poneto. The Poneto bank was the first bank to be closed in Wells County and the receiver was appointed November 19. 1924. The final report covers also a current report for period between October 1928, and October 1930, during which period the receiver collected the sum of $4,087 The Bank of Poneto was a private bank and all depositors were paid in full by assessments on stockholders with the lone exception of Levi Kimmel, on whose claim on deposits an agreement could not be reached Kimmel sued on his claim and he obtained judgment in the Adams Circuit Court against the Bank of Poneto in the sum of This judg ment bears the rate of per cent since February 10. 1926 and remains unpaid The receiver recites that there is no balance in his hands to apply on this judgment and the further action on this claim remains matter between Kimmel and stockholders. Wife Is Granted Divorce. Mrs. Lelia Rothgeb was granted a divorce from Harvey Rothgeb in Circuit Court here today and she also was given the custody of four children. ranging in ages from four to fifteen years. The father is to pay the sum of $16 per month toward the support of the children. and he is directed also to pay to the clerk of the court the sum of $35 by February 1, 1931, as fees for Mrs. Rothgeb's attorneys Mrs. Harvey Beery 47. well known resident of Kirkland Township Adams County. died at 40 o'clock this morning at her home of pneumonia Surviving are the husband and the following children Mrs Beulah Shockley of Decatur Miss Helen Beery of Detroit and Robert and Marvin Beery at home Brothers
