AMICK'S BANK CLOSED TUESDAY Amick's Bank at Scipio, closed Tuesday afternoon by Luther Symons, state bank commissioner, pending further check into its condi tion. The tragic death of John Amick, president and principal stock holder of the institution precipitated on the bank which brought about the closing of its doors to the public The bank had capital stock and deposits of Indica tions, according to Mr. Symons to the effect that depositors will suffer no losses. W. K. Frazier, state bank examiner, was placed charge of the institution Other stockholders in the sides John E Amick are his George Amick, and his nephew ford Whitcomb.
