BANK RECEIVERS CHANGED Newtonβ€”W. D. Burnett of Marshall, a deputy receiver under William L. O'Connell of Chicago, has succeeded Walter W. Payne of this city as receiver of the State Bank of Rose Hill and Dr. R. S. Wishard as receiver of the State Bank of Commerce of Wheeler, who have forwarded in their resignations. Mr. Burnett will be in charge of winding up the affairs of state banks in Jasper, Clark, Crawford, Edwards Lawrence and Richland counties, it is reported. Mr. Payne and Mr. Wishard will remain as receivers of the stockholders' assessment funds at Rose Hill and Wheeler respectively. It is presumed that A. A. Korn of Olney will be superseded as deputy receiver of the State Bank of West Liberty, although no information is available at this time about the latter bank.
