New Bank For Scottsville The state charter board yesterday granted a charter to the Farmers State Bank of Scottsville, capital stock $15,000. Local bankers who are familiar with arrangements for the new bank declare it is wholly a seperate institution from the Scottsville State Bank which suspended business on September 24, 1923. Affairs of the defunct bank are being wound up by R. M .Anderson, who was appointed attorney for the bank by its receiver. It is understood that Senator B. C. Culp and Lester Shamburg will be included in the personnel of the newly charted bank. A representative of the Beloit First National hold the opinion that the bank may not be organized for several months when farming and financial conditions may be more satisfactory than at present. The charter will continue effective for one year from issuance.
