Ila Mae Bussie was an honored guest Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Ione Krueger, at a shower, and Saturday, April 21, the Lutheran Aid society of Creston will give a shower in her honor at the church. A correction of the names of hostesses in the shower last Friday evening were Mrs. J. Hutcheson, Mrs. F. Huftalin, Mrs. L. Askeland, Mrs. D. Adee, Mrs. Roy Johnson of DeKalb and Mrs. A. Mongerson of Wasco. Lesile Lundgren of Alexis was a guest Sunday at the Pollard home and Francis Matthews of Kirkland. Mr. and Mrs. Kenenth Eychaner of Rockford spent Sunday afternoon at the home of his parents. Dr. W. C. Collins of Rockford will preach Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at the local church. Following the Sunday school a pot luck dinner will be enjoyed by all that can remain after which the quarterly conference will be conducted by the district superintendent.
