PEOPLES BANK Might Be a Pretty Good Time for Little Boy Blue to Sleep with at Least One Eye Open! STOCKHOLDERS ARE SUED TODAY Receiver Asked and Injunction Restraining Suits in Collection Petitioned. FIND THAT $37,300 IS PAID The long forecasted suit against the stockholders of the Peoples State Bank, became an actuality today when Attorney Albert Hall, of firm of Hall & Hulse, filed bill for injunction, receiver and judgment in the circuit court. The action was taken in the name of the Chicago Trust, The WaukeState bank, The First National bank the Waukegan National bank. These institutions now have $109,516 them on total loan of $128,000 made July 18, 1928 when the bank ceased business after the Waukegan State bank was convey. ed certain assets and accepted certain deposit liabilities in return. The is sought restrain any suits in collection against the bank. The receiver is sought to ascertain the creditors and liabilities through the court and to collect and disburse the money through the order of the court. Collect $37,300.
