DEPOSITORS Of the Failed Bank at Littleton Will Not Lose Any Money. CHARLESTON, July 12.-That the depositors of the Exchange Bank of Littleton, which was closed by order of the state banking commissioner will lose little or nothing, was the announcement made last night by Banking Commissioner Samuel V. Mathews, upon his return from Littleton. In order to save the depositors Mathews stated the stockholders will be assessed about 100 per cent, the maximum under the state law. A receiver to wind up the bank's affairs will be appointed.

Pyles Appointed Receiver Charleston, W. Va., July 17.-E. A. Pyles of Littleton has been appointed receiver for the Exchange bank of Littleton, W. Va., which failed several weeks ago, The state banking department is making a thorough investigation.
