DEPOSITORS Of the Failed Bank at Littleton Will Not Lose Any Money. CHARLESTON, July 12.-That the depositors of the Exchange Bank of Littleton, which was closed by order of the state banking commissioner will lose little or nothing, was the announcement made last night by Banking Commissioner Samuel V. Mathews, upon his return from Littleton. In order to save the depositors Mathews stated the stockholders will be assessed about 100 per cent, the maximum under the state law. A receiver to wind up the bank's affairs will be appointed.

PYLES NAMED AS RECEIVER. CHARLESTON. July 18. State Commissioner of Banking Samuel V. Mathews tonight announced the apr pointment of B. A. Pyles, of Littleton as receiver for the Exchange Bank of Littleton. whose doors were closed by Mathews two weeks ago. Pyles is cashier of the Bank of Littleton.
