District Court. Judge Ellis is putting in some solid work in the district court, and the indications are that the docket will be about cleaned up by the end of next week-the end of the term. Following are the proceedings had since our last issue, Oct. 12th: P. A. Simmons, assignee vs.J. T. Turner; plaintiff dismisses 1st, 2d, 3d and 4th causes of action. W. A. Hopkins vs. Gade, Baker & Co.; dismissed without prejudice. Ridenour, Baker & Co. vs. Loyejoy & Giasscock; trial; verdict for $2,030.97. Tufts VS Cookson; demurrer to evidence sustained. First National Bank of Emporia vs II. C. Lovejoy et al ; receiver required to file his report on or before Oct. 19. Turner & Co. vs S. Lebrecht; verdict for defendant. N. W. Young vs J. F. Connor; verdiet for plaintiff for $1. Henderson & Co. VS Lovejoy & Glasscock ; judgment for plaintiff for $501. Jane Hazelton vs C. D. Nelson; injunction; judgment for plaintiff. Attica State Bank vs. Rutherford; verdict for plaintiff. I. D. Young vs. F. M. Layton ; judgment for plaintiff for $60 and costs. Isaac Lee vs. Thos. Hope; judgment for defendant for costs. H. R. Lewis VS L. G. Peck, et al: judgment for plaintiff for $736.16 and property ordered sold. Geppert & Stone VS. P. D. Cunningliam; case dismissed and costs paid. H. C. Thompson vs. T. D. Greno; sheriff sale confirmed. In the matter of Harry I. Switzer; right of majority conferred on him.
