SHORTAGE OF $125,000 DEFUNCT KANSAS BANK CAWKER CITY, Kan., March 29 county authorities today will be supplied with a report by the state banking department showing shortage of $125,000 in the funds of the defunct Commercial State bank of Cawker City. Fred Buist, 43, cashier, was arrested and released under bond following the closing of the bank 10 days ago, the banking department has revealed. Buist was charged with making false report to the bank Mitchell county officers are expected to file forgery charges against Buist in with the handling of fraudulent paper in the bank
