Texas Negroes Are Held For Assault LIBERTY, Texas, March being held jail here last night Tom Buckner and Robert Johnson, negroes, were spirited away to an unannounced destination today Feeling reported running high because of an leged attack by one of the negroes upon Mrs. Ramiro Rodizey yesternear Goose creek Rodizey and his were enroute from Dallas when encountered the negroes Rodizey was robbed and forced away from the car. He returned to find his wife-semiconscious negroes were caught* and brought here for keeping. They to given preliminary trial today. Buckner charged with crimassault, robbers firearms and vagrancy Johnson was charged with robbery with firearms and TOPEKA, March two state one headed president of the Commercial Nasuspended business last week was announced the state banking department. BUFFALO BANK RE-OPENS Complete Reorganization of Institution Is Effected. The State Bank of Buffalo opened its doors for business Wednesday morning of last week, after being closed since March 19. During the time it was closed a complete reorganization was effected and new officers named. The capital and surplus of the bank were increased $15,000. Depositors did not lose because of week. the closing, but stockholders took the loss and then interested other capital at Buffalo in re-establishing the bank. C. L. Sutherland is the new president of the bank. Other new officers are: W. A. McCain, vice president; M. F. Gerkin, cashier, and Arthur E. Hicks, assistant cashier.
