FORMER BANK BUILDING PURCHASED BY COUNTY The Peoples Bank of Somerset County building, situated directly opposite the front of the Somerset Court House on Prince William Street in Princess Anne, was purchased at public sale for $4,160 by the Somerset County Commissioners on Tuesday, February 21. The Peoples Bank closed its doors and went into receivership on November 19, 1931. Its assets have been in process of litigation since that time.
