Huntsville Bank Closes Its Doors To Save Patrons HUNTSVILLE, Jan. 3,-The Huntsville State Bank closed its doors Friday morning about 10:30 o'clock. A notice was posted on the doors, signed by J. G. Ashe ford, president, declaring that the board of directors had decided to close the bank and place it in the hands of the banking commission to prevent a threatened "run" on the bank and to protect the depositors.
