LOANS TO BROKERS SHOW DECLINE OF $47,000,000 WASHINGTON Jan 8 (AP).-Loans to brokers and dealers held by New York federal reserve member banks for the week ending Jan. 7. were by the federal reserve board today as $1,879,000,000, representing decrease of $47,000,000 as compared with the preceding week.
