Rev. Schlundt's Mother, 82, Dies Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Schlundt, 82, widow of Henry C. Schlundt and mother of Rev. Theo. Schlundt, former pastor of The First Evangelical church here, died at 1:10 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at her home in Evansville. Born in Evansville, Mrs. Schlundt before her marriage was Mary Elizabeth Fischer. Following her marriage she made her home in St Louis for more than 15 years but returned to Evansville in 1897 and made her home there since. On her return to Evansville, Mrs. Schlundt became an active member of St. Paul's Evangelical church and for years was active in work of the church's women organizations, especially the Ladies' Aid society. Due to her age she had been inactive in the work for some years, but maintained her membership in the church. Surviving, in addition to the son who now lives in Dover, Ohion are two other sons, Henry J. Schiundt of Ev. ansville and Karl Schlundt of Los Angeles; three daughters, Mrs. George Nussman of Concordia, Mo., and the Misses Meta and Lydia Schlundt; a sister, Mrs. John Bruse of Blue Springs, Mo.; two brothers, George C. Fischer and John C. Fischer of Evansville; 17 grandchildren and seven Funeral services were conducted at 9 o'clock Friday morning at the home and at 9:30 o'clock at St. Paul's church with the Rev. Theo. L. Hass officiating. Burial was in Locust Hill cemetery.
