Commencement Season at Stetson Opens Tonight DELAND, May 16.-(Special.)-The first of the concerts to be given as a part of the 46th annual commencement of Stetson university will be held Friday evening at 8 o'clock in the university auditorium. The second commencement concert will be given on May 24 when the university glee club and orchestra will give joint program. Other graduation exercises have scheduled as follows: Saturday, May 25, 8 p. m. class day exercises: Sunday, May 26. m., baccalauretae sermon; Monday, May 27, p. m. and 8 p. m., annual Shakespeare play, "Twelfth Night": Tuesday, May 28, 10 m., dramatic recital, school of speech: Tuesday. May 28, p. m., commencement exercises, all departments. A feature of commencement this year will be the calebration of the 25th anniversary of the presidency of Dr Lincoln Hulley. Governor Carlton and number of the college presidents of Florida will be present and will deliver congratulatory addresses. Following the commencement exercises reception for Dr. Hulley and the visitors will be given in the museum of fine arts. BANK RECEIVER NAMED TALLAHASSEE, May 16.-(A.P.)Comptroller Ernest Amos today announced the appointment of W. L. Jackson, Orlando, as receiver for the Orlando Commercial bank, which closed recently. Jackson, the banking department stated, was generally endorsed for the place.
