Description

Articles (Oct 1894) describe the Wichita Savings Bank in the hands of a receiver (George Blackwelder) and court allowances for settling the bank's business. There is no mention of a depositor run in these clippings; the bank appears to have been closed and in receivership and is being wound up. 'Savings Bank' suggests a state-chartered savings institution, but the charter type is not specified in the text, so bank_type is set to unknown. Dates use the publication dates of the articles where the receivership/settlement is discussed.
