Description

Articles show the Casa Grande Valley Bank was insolvent and under the control of Y. C. White, Superintendent of Banks, acting as ex‑officio receiver. No articles describe depositor runs; instead legal actions and a sheriff's sale related to the bank in 1938 are reported, indicating the bank was closed/ in receivership. Bank appears state‑chartered because the state Superintendent of Banks is receiver.
