The debt-reducing and expense-curtailing record being made in Populist counties should open the eyes of the people to their interest and result in a general victory for the Populists in the local elections this year. Judge Riggs has sustained the new bankink law in a case at Garnett in which the creditors of a defunct bank ask that the receiver be directed to bring action against the stockholders for the benefit of all of the creditors.
