King as plaintiff did, on the Ata day of May, 1-92, file her petition in the district court, in and for Dickinson county, state of Kansas, against Nikeles Versteeg and others as de tendants, setting forth that said Nikeles Versteeg and Gertrude Versteeg gave a mort. gage to B. R. Abbe who sold and assigned said mortgage to the said plaintiff, on the follow ing described lands, situated in the county of Dickinson and state of Kansas, viz: All that part of lot five (5) lying east of Mud creek in C. H. Lebold's addition to Abilene, Kansas to secure the "payment of the sum o $520 according to certain notes re. ferred to in said mortga and praying judgment against said Nikeles Versteeg and GertrudeVersteeg, who signed and delivered said notes for the sum of $520. now claimed to be due and unpaid, with interest at 12 per eent per annum from March 1st, 1891, and that said ju gment be paid within six months or that said premises may be sold to pay the same without appraisement. R. Abbe, Peoples Bank of Newport, Pennsylvania, a corporation. Frank Farron, Gettysburg National bank, a corporation, York National bank, a corporation, A. Davison, Ed. 8. Ham. aker John L. Weller, W. O. Burr, State Mutual Fire Insurance company, E. D. Apthrop, F. E. Leonard, 4. L. Holcon b, Frank Croll, Gray N tional bank, a corpora4 tion, Middleton Springs, Vt, F. A. Yonkin, George B. Windsor, George Hazeltine, The Lawrence National bank, a corpora ion, II. O. Vaughan, Jennie C. Egersdort, W. F. J. Boardman, Tne Central Loan & Trust company, a corp ration, Ben Smith, are hereby notified that they must appear and answer said petition on 01 before the 17th day of August, 1892, or said petition will be taken as true against them and each of them; and a judgment for said amount and a decree for ever barring them of any right, title or interest in and to said lands after the sale thereof, will be rendered against them, and ordering said lands to be sold without appraisement to satisfy any sum found to be due the plaintiff upon said notes and mort gage, and said parties will take not ce that July 30th, 1892, 01 as soon thereafter as may be, the plaintiff will ask the probate court of Dickinson county, Kansas, to appoint a receiver in said action.
