NAME CHARLES GEBHARD DEPUTY BANK RECEIVER
Harrisburg, Today.β(AP)βLuther A. Harr, secretary of banking, Monday announced two changes in the list of deputy receivers in the division of closed banks.
Charles E. Gebhard succeeds Charles F. Bowman as deputy receiver in charge of the Agricultural Trust and Savings Company and the Lancaster Trust Company, both of Lancaster. The department is liquidating only the trust department of the latter bank, its commercial assets having been taken over by special liquidating trustees. Thomas J. Callahan replaces Walter Oliver as deputy receiver of the five closed banks in Luzerne county. The banks are the Dime Bank Title and Trust Company, Heights Deposit Bank, and Pennsylvania Liberty Bank and Trust Company, all of Wilkes-Barre; the Peoples Savings and Trust Company of Duryea, and the Plains State Bank.
