BANK FAILS Doors Are Closed and Court is Asked to Appoint Receiver. CHILLICOTHE, O., June 23The Scioto Valley Bank, a state institution at Kingston this county, was closed today by order of State Bank Examiner Demoss, and a receiver was asked for in court. The cause is said to be overdrafts. The bank is capitalized at $75,000, all paid in, and had a surplus of $75,000.
