Article Text

Receiver Appointed. E. R. Tyler, receiver of the Citizens State Bank of Brewster, accompanied by Frank Foster, his attorney, came up from Brewster Tuesday, to interview the debtors and creditors of the institution in this valley. There is little to give other than that they are proceeding with the winding up of the bank's affairs as fast as possible. The fixtures of the Twisp branch of the defunct bank were sold by the receiver at $550, considered a very good sale for the creditors of the bank. Mr. Tyler states the proposition of reorganizing the bank is by no means dead, and that it stands a good show yet of taking place. They visited Winthrop yesterday and returned home today. -Twisp News.
