Description

All articles report that City National Bank of Evansville 'temporarily suspended business, pending an investigation by bank examiners' on Jan 17, 1910. Crowds of depositors assembled after the suspension — i.e., a run-like gathering occurred as a consequence of the suspension. There is no information about receivership or permanent closure; suspension is described as temporary, so I classify as suspension with depositor agitation and eventual reopening (no confirmation of closure).
