UNION RIGHT Financial Status Town Again Bank Reopened tal of Nine Darke County Financial Institutions Now in Full Operation today the Citizens Bank Co., of Ansonia, announced that had reopened for normal business. The Ansonia bank is the tenth financial institution in Darke County have its application for cense approved by either state national banking officials. During the past 48 hours the nancial situation at Union City, neighboring Ohio-Indiana line community, resumed normal aspects when the citys' three banks were licensed to reopen. The Farmers' State Bank, Darke county institution, resumed normal business activities Wednesday afternoon. while the two Indiana side banks, Union Trust and Commercial Bank and Trust Company, were thrown open to the public on Thursday morning. All three of the institutions reecived an "A" rating from respective Ohio and Indiana authorities, dispatches state. Since Wednesday total of nine Darke county banking houses have been reopened. In addition to the four local banks, financial institutions at New Madison, Gettysburg and Versailles have resumed busiVersailles has two banks, the First National and Peoples Bank Company. Throughout Ohio there are totol of 721 national and state banks. Up until today there were 519 of the financial institutions in full operation.

FEDERAL STILL DELAYED Notice to Reopen Expected Within Days by Greenville National Bank Board Members Bank Officials Cleveland terday Henry Bank Reopened.. Members of the directorate board the Greenville National Bank. which has been closed since the original bank holiday proclamation President Roosevelt. conferred with federal reserve bank officials Cleveland. Ohio, yesterday anc result today expressed confidence in the belief that the local institution would resume business operations within few days. Nothing more needed than federal notice to that effect, was stated, and official permission to resume business may possibly arrive during the fore. part of the coming week. The bank executives here were unwilling to estimate just how long would be before the notice would be but they announced that every effort being made reopen within the next four days. The city's four other banks have been open since Wednesday and are operating on normal holiday basis. Six other Darke county banks have also resumed normal business operations including the First National and People's Bank, Versailles: the Citizens Bank of Ansonia; the Gettysburg Citizens Bank: the New Madison State Bank and the Farmers' State Bank at Union City. Today the St. Henry bank at Henry, was licensed to reopen. St. Henry an adjoining Mercer county village.
