The new bank opened with pay. ment of 40 per cent on the deposits of the old Farmers National Bank which it succeeded. Columbus, Ohio, August 2-(AP) State Banking Department today took over for liquidation the Farmers Bank, of Lewistown Logan County The institution has been in the hands of a conservator since last March.
