RUN ON CLEVELAND BANK FORCES ASSIGNMENT. CLEVELAND, O., Dec. 1.-The doors of the Hartville Banking Company, of Hartville, near Canton, Ohio, which made an assignment, were closed today, following a run which originated in a report that the bank had some connection with the recently defunct Collinwood bank, near Cleveland. F. W. Christy, who promoted the Collinwood institution, held fifty shares of the Hartville bank's stock, but announced several days ago that he had sold it to his cousin, E. O. Christy. W. G. Smith, of Cleveland, is president of the Hartville Banking Company.
