DEFUNCT BLOOMINGSBURG BANK SUED FOR $40,000 WASHINGTON C. H., O., July 13. -Suit against the stockholders of the People's bank of Bloomingburg, private bank that suspended business January 13, 1931, for $40,000 was filed Saturday by Ira J. Fulton, state bank superintendent, who declares the amount represents the difference between the collectible assets of the bank and the amount due creditors. A restraining order to prevent incumbering or selling property owned by the stockholders is also asked. The defendants are A. F. Haines, Anna J. Creamer, M. J. Dickey, W. Q. Kinkead, Anna E. Larrimer, H. A. Pinkerton, J. Y. Stitt, J. M. Willis, Frank Traug as assignee for R G. Jefferson, Serepta Short, Charles and Roy Oswald, George C. Parrett, Clara B. Stitt, Margaret and Dorothy Fulletron, J. M. McClure and J. Howard Jefferson.
