BANK SUPERINTENDENT AMENDS PETITION An amended petition was placed on file Saturday in common pleas court in the suit for $127,965.23 instituted against directors of the Commercial Bank of Middletown, now being liquidated by S. H. Squire, state superintendent of banks. The custom of dyeing eggs at Easter can be traced back to very early times.
