RULING RESERVED IN BANK SUIT TO REGAIN DIVIDENDS Receiver Seeks Cash Which Wife Once Offered on Husband's Debt. (Courier Special Service) Manchester, Ia.--Ruling has been reserved by Judge A. B. Lovejoy after a hearing in district court of an action by the Delaware county bank receiver against Mrs. E. E. McCloud, Ryan, to recover $3,500 in dividends. Decision for Bank Overruled. The receiver sought in an earlier court action to recover on Delaware county land to offset an obligation of some $3,900 by Mr. McCloud to the bank. Title to the land was held by Mrs. McCloud and later was transferred by her to her husband. Judge R. W. Hasner heard that case and ruled in favor of the bank, but the supreme court reversed his ruling. Want Dividends Now. The bank now seeks to recover dividends which Mrs. McCloud had offered to offset her husband's indebtedness to the bank.
