F. M. BRANDON NAMED LIQUIDATE BANKS Frank M. Brandon of Auburn, has been appointed and has qualified by posting bond to liquidate the St. Valley bank of St. Joe, Ashley State bank at Ashley and the FarmState bank of Hudson, Ind. Mr. Brandon's appointment was made by state department financial institutions at Indianapolis. Walter D. Stump of Auburn, selected attorney by the same deand Mr. Brandon. The Hudson bank was closed in June this year, the St. Joe Valley bank suspended few days ago after operating under tions since the banking holiday last March and the Ashley bank has been closed for two years. Notices that the state had taken the banks were filed in the DoKalb circuit court and upon the officers of the banks. Those have the right to apply to the circourt within days for injunction against the state.
