Rockport Bank Fails to Open People's State Bank, Rockport, Pike county, failed to: open Its doors this morning, nccording to an announcement by the state auditor"s office here today. A state bank examiner has been sent to: Rockport to take charge. Frozen assets are said to have caused the bank's suspension: W. F. Beckenholdt. is president. and L. M. Smith cashier. According to the bank's last statement, on file here. it has capital stock of $20.000 and deposits totaling approximately $125,000.
